TickTick for Visual Studio
In short: TickTick for Visual Studio talks only to TickTick, using the API token you give it. There is no server of mine, no analytics and no crash reporting.
What is stored
- Your TickTick API token, encrypted with Windows DPAPI for your Windows user only and kept out of Visual Studio's roaming settings
- The project chosen for each Visual Studio window
It is stored on your own device, and removing the extension removes it.
What leaves your device
Requests go only to api.ticktick.com, over HTTPS. The Add TickTick task from selection command sends the code you selected to your TickTick account. Nothing else reads or sends your code.
What is never done
- No personal data is collected, sold or shared.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising or crash reporting.
- No server run by me ever receives your data.
Access requested
- TickTick API token
- A TickTick API token gives full access to your account, so treat it like a password. You can revoke it in TickTick at any time; signing out removes it from your computer.
TickTick
Your tasks live in your TickTick account, under TickTick's privacy policy. This extension is not affiliated with TickTick.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page will be updated first, with a new date at the top.
