Use the + button or the right-click menu, then pick a folder and add tags.

Nest folders as deep as you like, colour them, and drag to reorder.

Search as you type across titles, URLs and tags, or filter by tag chips.
Common questions
How do I change the keyboard shortcut?
Open chrome://extensions/shortcuts (or edge://extensions/shortcuts in Edge) and set a new one for Bookmark +.
Does it change my browser's own bookmarks?
No. Bookmark + keeps its own library, separate from the browser's bookmarks bar, and doesn't ask for permission to read or change it.
How do I back up my library?
Settings → Export Data saves everything, including folders and tags, as a JSON file. Import Data restores it on any computer.
How do I start over?
Settings → Danger zone → Clear All Data. Export first if you might want it back.
Didn't find it?
"Report a problem" opens an email with the version filled in. Say what happened and, if you can, how to make it happen again.
