Getting started

Create an API token
In TickTick, open your avatar → Settings → Account → API Token.

Sign in
In Visual Studio, choose Extensions → Sign in to TickTick and paste the token.

Open the window
Extensions → TickTick Tasks, or press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+T.

Capture from code
Select code and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+A. The first line becomes the title, with the file and line in the description.
Common questions
What do I need?
Visual Studio 2022 17.14 or later, or Visual Studio 2026, and a TickTick account.
How do I type due dates?
In plain text: today, fri, next week, in 3 days, 5 Oct, optionally with a time such as 9am or 14:30. Leave it empty to clear the date.
What doesn't work yet?
This is a preview. Repeating dates have to be set in TickTick, descriptions show as plain text, and Open in TickTick opens the web app rather than the task.

No. It's an independent integration, not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Appest Inc. TickTick is a trademark of Appest Inc.
Didn't find it?
"Report a problem" opens an email with the version filled in. Say what happened and, if you can, how to make it happen again.
